Amendment 64 Colorado Debate: ‘Regulalte Marijuana Like Alcohol’

In the wake of news of the State-wide legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington, the entire world has been talking about a subject that usually relegated to the sidelines. But not everyone is happy that the States have liberalised their policies. This debate shines light on either side of the argument.

“The medical marijuana issue is rife with Ninth and Tenth Amendment issues.” says, Jeff Cox. “The crux of the issue is not whether marijuana is good or bad.”
“The issue is whether those decisions should be made by the residents of a state or by the federal government.” He continues, “As things stand, the FEDS have the law and Supreme Court decisions on their side.”
